CSC National Implementation Board

Lived Experience Board member sitting alongside government minister and sector wide representatives. Overseeing the implementation of the recommendations of The Independent Review of Children's Social Care and ensuring the voices of children and families remain central. Previous EbyE Board member of the Review.

Giving HOPE

Member of lived experience group that co produced the HOPE boxes - a trauma informed intervention to help support women who are separated from their baby close to birth due to safeguarding concerns.

BASW 80-20 Campaign

Lived experience Steering Group Member. The 80-20 Campaign aims to reverse the current trend in social work where practitioners are spending most of their time on administrative and process driven tasks, rather than on building relationships

Parents and Relatives Representative The primary role of Family Justice Council is to promote an interdisciplinary approach to family justice and to monitor the system

Domestic Abuse Practice Reference Group

Lived experience member of practice reference group looking to further strengthen the quality and impact of work with children and families in family law proceedings where domestic abuse is known or alleged. The group is co-chaired by the Family Justice Young People’s Board (FJYPB) and the charity, SafeLives. Membership will include experts and those who have been victims of domestic abuse.

Working with National Adoption Leaders to ensure the voices of birth families input, shape and feed into adopter support, recruitment and training

Lived experience adviser, collaborating on various projects including designing a new support service for women in Hackney and the MBRRACE study into maternal deaths where CSC involvement

Transparency in the Family Courts

Lived experience member of the President's Transparency Implementation Group.  On Monday 29 January 2024 the Transparency Implementation Group Reporting Pilot (TIG), which for the first time made it the default position that the media could report on family cases, was extended to 16 courts across the country.
